About VETS²

Veterans Education and Training in Security Services

A registered 501(c)(19) veterans organization built on one idea: veterans are best equipped to lead other veterans into what comes next.

Our Story

Veterans Leading Veterans

VETS² — short for Veterans Education and Training in Security Services — exists to help veterans move from military service into stable, respected careers in the security industry. We believe the skills, discipline, and leadership built in uniform translate directly into this next chapter, so VETS² pays the direct costs of the licenses, courses, and certifications standing between a veteran and a badge — plus the mentorship to get through the interview.

As a registered 501(c)(19) veterans organization, VETS² is run by veterans, for veterans — with programs funded through creative, community-driven partnerships rather than relying on any single source.

What We Stand For

Our Values

Service

The mission didn't end at discharge. We channel that same commitment into supporting the veteran community.

Brotherhood

Veterans helping veterans — mentorship and community built on shared experience and mutual trust.

Purpose

A clear next mission: real training, real certifications, and real careers in the security field.

How We're Funded

Community-Powered Support

VETS² funds its training programs through direct giving as well as two hands-on partnership programs: our Brass Recycling Program, which collects spent brass at partner ranges and recycles it through Charlie Mike's Armory, and our USCCA partnership, which turns a free QR scan into a $5 donation. Visit our Programs page to see how each one works.

VETS² is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(19) veterans organization. Contributions may be tax-deductible depending on your individual circumstances — please consult your tax advisor.
